Behind antique brass railings, Ashley Horn runs the postal agency as a private concern which is managed under contractual agreement with the SA Post Office Ltd. Here, customers can pay telephone bills and third party accounts, transfer or receive money, buy postal orders – and send and receive their mail. Although the history of this village landmark is unknown, it has been a post office for as long as the oldest village residents can remember. The current owners plan to offer fresh fast foods and other delicacies to the community and visitors, plus local art and an exhibition of Uthando Leatherworks.
