Gordon’s Wood & Wireworks
Like many young men in the area, Gordon Jonkers learnt as a boy to fashion wire into model cars. As one of the best car-makers in Nieu Bethesda, he quickly progressed to supplying local craft shops with bowls and ornaments made of bright new galvanised wire. Now he operates as an entrepreneur, selling outside the Owl House and around the commercial centre of Nieu Bethesda. Always trying out new ideas, Gordon’s designs display a lyrical charm and are often humorous. Like any multi-skilled entrepreneur, he is often away from town working on the fences of local farms. Gordon’s products are for sale outside the Owl House.
